Community
One of the biggest challenges of conscious parenting, beyond the act of parenting consciously, is the feeling that you’re doing it alone. You’re probably always wondering:
Am I on the right track? Is this working? Should it be this hard?
Is my child typical? Are their behaviors normal?
What does it look like in action?
It is natural to want to bounce ideas off of like-minded people, share challenges, and successes, learn how conscious parenting looks when different people apply it, or just feel heard. But many of us find ourselves completely isolated on this journey. Not only are we the only ones we know attempting to break cycles, and parent in more conscious ways, but we also face criticism and judgement from family and friends about our parenting choices.
In these monthly conversations and classes, I will present on a parent-related topic or invite a guest to present, answer questions, and converse amongst group members to help empower you and remind you that you are not alone on this journey. See upcoming and previous topics below.
